Oileán Chléire (Cape Clear) English Translation

Anchored at the southernmost part of Ireland, Cléire's rugged beauty and vibrant energy is apparent before you even get off the ferry. 

Featuring the ever changing view out over An tInbhear (South Harbour) and the iconic Carraig Aonair (Fastnet Rock & Lighthouse) in the background, the following themes are included in this print:

- A Yellow-browed Warbler, perched among Atlantic Ivy, represents the seasonal importance of the island to migratory birds
- An excerpt of An Chloc Chléire (The Cape Clear Stone) is a Neolithic representation of 'a story in every field'
- Diving whales represent the importance of the region as feeding grounds for an abundance of sea-life

This print was informed by community workshops and 15% of the sale price of each print will go to the RNLI.
